Often when I go networking or to an event and ther Often when I go networking or to an event and there’s someone there that Ive not met before, as soon as its time to swap details or cards I always get quite a few ‘you can contact me through my website but please don’t look at it’

Because I work with websites they feel instantly judged, ashamed and embarrassed. Of what more often than not is a perfectly great website.

It’s also like when I tell people I have OCD and they say ‘don’t come round to my house it’s a tip you would be mortified’

Why are we always so in fear of being judged?

And obviously not just by me, this a general thing. I’m exactly the same for other things 🤣

But it’s a judgment free zone over here!

So if you do want help with your website, no judgment just a few clear and actionable tips to get it working better for you and turning more visitors into clients then get in touch for a free website audit just comment audit and you will get sent a simple form to fill in!
Fab morning this morning with the Starla Business Fab morning this morning with the Starla Business Network - Relaxed Networking for Women In Business ladies in Colbalt Cardiff and a big thanks to them listening to me talk about all things mailing lists and lead magnets

If you have an in person or online group you would like me to do a talk or mini workshop for just let me know or if you want to know more about the full day workshops I run you can find out more in my bio 🤩
You want clients to pay you but you make it virtua You want clients to pay you but you make it virtually impossible for them to do so

Hiding payment buttons within reams of text
Having your work with me pages so well hidden through drop down after drop down no one finds them
Getting them to email you or message you for your bank details or just even a get in touch to pay!

Imagine going to your local supermarket and when you walk in they want to have a chat about what you want to buy and then give you their bank details so you can pay and then she will go back to the office and check they have received the money and then come back and give you a receipt and you can then go and get your items."

I don't expect you would be shopping there again, hanging round wanting to just pay for what you need and get out of there!

So why do you make it so difficult on your website?

But I don't have ecommerce on my website or the ability for them to pay, I hear you say.

You can easily create payment links in Paypal, Stripe, Square, Gocardless etc. as the very least!

But if you want things fully automated then ecommerce is the way to go and for all service based WordPress websites we use something called Studiocart, which allows you to create your services, link them to a payment system and having a thank you page. You can also link it up to your email marketing system, schedule sales, have order bumps, upsells and downsells and I can teach you all about in my next workshop!

On Thursday 11th September at my office (CF45 4SN 15 mins from J32), I am going to help you install Studiocart and teach you how to use it so that on the day you can set up products for your services and everything else mentioned above!

This is only for those who have a WordPress website, but if you don't have a website at all we can set you up with a quickstart install (contact me first)

Let me know if you are in (or visit the workshop page on the website) but it will be £97 9.30am-2.30pm!
I love doing in person website sessions I get to l I love doing in person website sessions I get to learn so much about the person and their business, it gives me a totally new insight into their business and the ideas flow of how to make the website really work for them.

Today was the turn of my lovely friend Kelly Gleadall and a totally new and improved website for Follow Fleurs Forever Ltd

Kelly is so passionate about her business doing artificial flowers, DIY kits and workshops and her creations are amazing - it really needs a platform that can showcase that.

We were both in full planning mode today and even how organised Kelly is I don’t think she expected to be given a big piece of paper and told to map out all her products into categories. The second attempt went well though and we talked about her brand, her colour work and how it can all come together on her website.

Very excited for this one to start coming together!!
