Are words killing your website sales? Now we know Are words killing your website sales?

Now we know websites need words, not just to tell people how we can help them but to also help with the search engines picking up our websites.

But websites drowning in text, that's not broken up into sections and not visual at all - you are just going to get that little cross in the top of the tab clicked and off they go to find someone else who can help

People don't care about you

They are on your website to find out how you can help them with their problem - in as few words as possible initially. Then you can talk to them about that problem and how you can help - that's all they want

You don't need war and peace!

Have you ever been on a sales page, started scrolling down and reading the content then you are scrolling and scrolling then think let's scroll down to the bottom to see the price and see if it's worth reading all this where they are talking about themselves and all this other stuff you are not really interested in?

Well, just that! It's bye bye!

New office incoming 😍🤩 Well this was rather New office incoming 😍🤩

Well this was rather unexpected!

After moving offices for my business back in April (after the 6 month wi fi and closure drama in the town hall 🙈) to Prospect House in Cwmbach (who’ve been amazing!) Im on the move again, after an out of the blue phone call a few weeks ago offering me an office down Navigation Park in Abercynon.

I wasn’t even going to see the office as I already had one but curiosity got the better of me 🤣 and then I loved it!

Its closer to my house and much easier for clients to get to for in person websites, training, workshops and strategy sessions, being on the Abercynon slip road of the A470 and 15 mins from Coryton and the M4.

Im not moving until the end of the month (waiting for the interwebs to be installed) but picked up the keys today!

So let’s have a look around 👀
AI love it or hate it? That's what I've been talk AI love it or hate it?

That's what I've been talking about in my weekly newsletter today as well as doing a live about it in my Business Cheerleaders Facebook (come over and join in the conversation!)

It was prompted by a guest blog post on my website written by Heather Protheroe (who is my SEO Superstar) about AI referral traffic, more about what it is and how to use it to your advantage in your business to drive more traffic to your website

When I first heard of AI I was skeptical but it looks more and more like it's here to stay. My husband calls it cheating for me it's all about time saving. Yes, it's not a professional but it saves me so much time in my business and even in my life (put in what foods you like and ask it to meal plan for you lol!)
I had Kelly Watts come up to the office yesterday I had Kelly Watts come up to the office yesterday to run her LinkedIn workshop for us yesterday and me and Jo Davies Photography was astounded at how much work goes into a LinkedIn profile!

LinkedIn is something I've had a bit of a love hate relationship with - OK so I've just had a constant dislike relationship

I've never really worked in the corporate world, I've spent most of my life bringing my kids up and working part time in reception or hospitality jobs. 

We are told that commenting get's us seen more but to be honest I have no clue what most of the posts are about!

I copy my FB post's onto there and I have a bit of an about section so when Kelly went through each section of the profile I hadn't even noticed any of this stuff was there, much less filled it in!

We even created together my first LinkedIn newsletter and after an hour I had over 100 people sign up! Go me!

So thank you to Kelly for enlightening me to all things LinkedIn profiles (and for our content plans!)

Maybe I'll give LinkedIn more of a go!
