Website Workshops
Have you ever wanted someone to guide you through the murky path of the Wonderful World of Websites?
Websites and tech are hardly ever plain sailing and having someone to hold your hand to get you from stressed to success can be just what you need to quite literally stop yourself from throwing your laptop across the room.
Which is why I came up with the idea of website workshops.
Make More Money From Your Website Workshop
Our first ever workshop will take place on the Monday 9th September 2024 at Mountain Ash Town Hall.
The workshop will run from 10am to 2.30pm and will be in two parts.
In the 2 hour morning session we will be covering the different aspects a website needs to bring in more leads and clients and ultimately make you more money. This is where you will create your personalised action plan. This will also be recorded and sent to you after the event.
The 2 hour afternoon session will be more of a practical session (so bring your laptops!) where you will not only be able to implement what you have learnt in the morning session, but you will also be able to ask me questions and have me look at your website to suggest improvements.
You will then go away with an action plan to carry on implementing or we are able to work with you further to help you do this.
Although we specialise in WordPress website you can have any website builder as we will not be teaching how to use the website but more of the strategy on how to improve it to get more clients.
ONLINE TICKETS!
We have been able to sort out an extra laptop to be able to Zoom the mornings training for people who can’t make it or who live too far away.
If you wish to purchase an online ticket you will receive details of the Zoom link and the workshop will take place between 10am until 12pm on Monday 9th September live.
Due to the interactive nature of the afternoon session it will be a bit more difficult as I will be going round the attendees one by one to give them individual feedback.Â
Simply purchase an online ticket and you will have Zoom access to the main training session in the morning.
Your ticket also includes a box meal from a nearby cafe (please message us for details)
Teas and coffees will be available from 9.30am so we can start at 10am. There is also the option to purchase additional drinks and food from the cafe if needed.
The workshop will take place in the beautiful upstairs event hall.
There is a lift and ramp so if you have access needs please let us know.
There is a also train station (Mountain Ash) and a bus stop in the nearby town centre (see map below). As well as a nearby free carpark to the right hand side of the building behind the garage (Cardiff Road Parking), with ample car parking space, as well as a larger car park in the town centre (Henry Street Car Park).
Due to the interactive nature of the afternoon part of the workshop places are limited.

FAQs
Where is it?
It’s in the event hall in Mountain Ash Town Hall
When is it?
9.30am to 2.30pm with arrival between 9.30 and 10am, lunch between 12 and 12.30 and two two hour sessions or learning and implementation (so bring your laptops!)
What will I learn?
You will learn all about the strategy of a client converting website. So we will be looking into what you want your website to achieve in your business, planning out the customer journey and calls to actions, looking at what makes a good website structure etc. as well as touching on ways to drive traffic to your site (although this will be another workshop!)
Do I have to have a certain website builder?
Nope, we won’t be teaching you how to use your website (that’s another workshop!) but showing you the strategy so you can implement, so we are assuming you have basic knowledge of making changes, even if they are just small changes.
Do I need a website?
No, if you are in the process of planning then this is the perfect place to get started!
Do I need a certain business?
Nope, although I do specialise in service based businesses so the workshop will primarily be aimed at those selling services rather than an ecommerce website.
Is there food?
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival and a buffet lunch (please let us know any dietary requirements). There is also a cafe downstairs and lot’s of shops in the town centre.
Is it easy to access?
Yes it is in Mountain Ash town centre and accessible by train and bus as well as ample parking space with some free car parks. We are about 30 mins outside of Cardiff.
