FAQs
Where is it?
Workshops are at WWW HQ, unless specified in the workshop:
Office G2, Navigation Park, Abercynon, Mountain Ash, RCT, CF45 4SN
We also run workshops occasionaly at other venues. Please double check where your workshop is held before booking.
When is it?
9.30am to 2.30pm with arrival between 9.30 and 10am, lunch between 12 and 12.30/12.45 on the dates above.
What will I learn?
Each workshop is different and as they are implentation workshops and we cap attendees at 6 I will be working with you to get the work done before you leave (there may be a few bits you have to do after the workshop)
Do I have to have a certain website builder?
Nope, we won’t be teaching you how to use your website (unless specified) but showing you the strategy so you can implement, so we are assuming you have basic knowledge of making changes, even if they are just small changes.
Do I need a website?
Depending on the workshop, some workshops are planning, strategy and building whilst others are about implementing on your already built website.
Do I need a certain business?
Nope, although I do specialise in service based businesses so the workshop will primarily be aimed at those selling services rather than an ecommerce website.
Is there food?
There will be tea, coffee and biscuits/cakes on arrival and you are also welcome to bring your own lunch as we have a small fridge, kettle and mircowave. There is a town a short walk away (around 5-10 ,mins walk) or a few minutes drive that has a variety of shops and cafes.
Is it easy to access?
Yes we are 15 minutes from Junction 32 of the M4 and just off the A470 on the Abercynon Slip Road.
If coming by car and using Google Maps put in Wonderful World of Websites
When you get to the building you are able to park in the visitor spaces or along the kerbs on on the grassland. Please do not park over any dropped kerbs, as they are used for disabled access, or in any of the numbered spaces as these are reserved for tenants only.
If coming by train the train station is Abercynon and when you come off the train turn right then up the right hand side steps. Once at the top of the steps turn left and follow the road out of the car park towards, across the bridge and towards the office building. We are further along in the grouped red brick buildings – building name Ty Cynon.
The number 60 and 61 Stage Coach bus also stops outside Navigation Park and you can walk down into the estate towards the offices.
When you walk through to reception, if you sign in on the visitor book (if it’s not there don’t worry) then you will see a sign saying office G1 to G9. Go down that corridor and we are the second office – G2 on the ground floor.
You are welcome to bring your own food/snacks etc (we have a small fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave), we do have teas and coffee as well as water. Also the town centre is a short walk away (back to the train station, down the steps and through the tunnel (the town is the other side of the tunnel if you turn right)
If you have an allergies or other needs that I need to know about please inform me before hand.
