Well this was a surprise! Thank you to Niki Hutch Well this was a surprise!

Thank you to Niki Hutchison for the photo and post. I was unable to make the Digital Women ยฎ awards this year in London.

I only found out by accident not long ago I was shortlisted, as I hadnโ€™t received the official email.

Iโ€™ve attended the last two years and won runner up Website Designer of the Year but this year I only went and won and I wasnโ€™t there to accept the award!!

But still won so go me!!
What do you love doing in your business? For me i What do you love doing in your business?

For me itโ€™s all the in person stuff. Througout my business I found my biggest love was networking and being around people. I loved it far more than being sat behind a desk on my own with no one to talk to, running a business. I wasnโ€™t there for the sales I was there for the connection.

But obviously being a serial networker isnโ€™t going to pay the bills (as all the work I get from networking I have to go back to the office and do ๐Ÿ™ˆ) so how to use that to love my business more and make it more fun?

Well the answer was obvious, bring people to me! Over the last few months Iโ€™ve been doing websites in a day (where you come to me and I really get to know you and your biz and you get loads of input and training), deep dive website strategy sessions (where you leave with ypur website set up for success), workshops (where we get the techy thing done in your business as a group), one to one website training (so you literally sit next to me and I guide you) amd tech co working (where you have me on hand to ask questions, guidance and feedback)

Itโ€™s totally changed my business and my clients! We still do loads of online stuff but itโ€™s given me the balance I need so Iโ€™m not getting bored and unfocused.

What about you? Do you love what you do? How could you love it more?

Pic of the last co working day to remind you the next one is Thursday 28th Sept 9-12 (pop me a message to book or comment the word: workshop)๐Ÿคฉ
Well I got there in the end! After driving for ove Well I got there in the end! After driving for over 2 and a half hours to get 50 mins away, due to a crash, I got to The Phoenix HQ to deliver my Website Traffic Booster workshop (and we even finished on time!)

Thank you so much Amy Mostert for your hospitality, greeting the attendees whilst I was stuck in traffic, taking all the photos and buying me poppets to calm me down ๐Ÿ˜‚

Today Clair Stevenson, Jo Follows-Smith, Louise Adams, Kim Beale ๐Ÿ’š and Colita Dainton had the pleasure of not only my company but me teaching them all the different ways to drive traffic to their website, analysing their analytics, playing detective in Google Search Console and having fun with Chat GPT for all those extra things we never thought of that would be best for their individual businesses. Lotโ€™s of website improvements were also done and they have loads to be getting on with, as unfortunately driving traffic to your website isnโ€™t a do it in a day and itโ€™s done job, but an ongoing process.

Thank you all ladies for a fab day and I hope you learnt lots :)

If you need somewhere to book a workshop or do some co working get in touch with Amy or Kellie Vvind!
When I started my business over 10 years ago, the When I started my business over 10 years ago, the online space looked very different. There werenโ€™t many women building websites, and even fewer who actually loved the techy side of things. Thatโ€™s where I stood out.
I began by creating websites, but I quickly realised people were being left stuck afterwards. They had a brand new siteโ€ฆ but no clue how to update it without paying extortionate prices for tiny changes. Thatโ€™s when the support and training side of my business really grew.
At first, Iโ€™ll admit, I felt out of place. Iโ€™d go networking and see other web companies in sharp suits with glossy business cards. Meanwhile, Iโ€™d been raising my kids and had never worked in a corporate office. I worried I wasnโ€™t โ€œprofessionalโ€ enough.
But then I found my people. The women who didnโ€™t want jargon or formality, but a down to earth, friendly approach. And thatโ€™s when I realised my superpower: making complicated tech simple, without ever making someone feel stupid.
Over the years, Iโ€™ve leaned into that uniqueness. My clients love that I make them feel at ease, that we get things done and that we even have fun and laugh along the way (because with tech, sometimes you have to!).
And hereโ€™s the part I really love: the in-person side of what I do. Whether itโ€™s a workshop, strategy session, or a full day working side by side, thatโ€™s where the magic happens. Sitting down together, getting to know your business properly, and leaving with clarity and confidence, thatโ€™s what lights me up and thatโ€™s where we make the most difference in your business.
If this sounds like what you need then pop me a message and we can have a chat!
