Nearly there! For the last two days I’ve had to Nearly there!

For the last two days I’ve had to catch the train to work. Now if you know me I’m not really one for public transport. I also live in the valleys where we don’t really have the best public transport (who couldn’t get to the Stereophonics gig as the track melted and we were all cut off?!)

Anyway, my husbands car has been in the garage so as my new office is close to the train station (and so is my house) it’s easy to jump on and get off at the next stop.

Then I had this lovely (and only a couple of minutes) walk over the river to the office and the sun is shining!

This week has been full of tech hell and things not working so fingers crossed that today is now going to be a good day - if the tech just works I would be forever grateful!
A good few years back I had a message on my Facebo A good few years back I had a message on my Facebook page for my business asking to quote for a website. 

Unless you want extra features my prices are on my website so I directed the lady to the page on my website and said happy to chat about what package you need.

She came back to me and said ‘how you sleep at night is beyond me I do have children to feed you know’ and other choice words I won’t write on here!

WOW

At the time my website prices were only a couple of hundred pounds.

I answered (I know, I know I should have left it!) and explained that for what she was asking for would mean around 30 hours of my time which worked out I was getting paid less than minimum wage and that I also have children to feed, which is why I shouldn’t be expected to work for that and asking me to do so I wondered how she slept at night.

She didn’t respond

Running my workshop last week and having people come to me in person to create their website, they were amazed at how long things took to set up and create properly - not chucking something together.

Yes, we have budget friendly quick installs but to work together to create something that will work for your business (not just sat there gathering Internet dust) is what we do best and like everyone else we deserve to get paid for our expertise :)

I’ve not been spoken to like that by anyone else as to be honest we tend to attract the type of clients that not only value myself and my team but also the work we do and how that work can also be of value in their business - it’s all about the values!
