Yesterday’s Lead Magnet Workshop was a massive success! 🎉

Clair Stevenson, Jo Davies, Louise Adams and Sian Clemens came along and didn’t just learn what a lead magnet is… they actually built one and left with it DONE ✅

We started by getting clear on:
✨ What their businesses offer
✨ Who their ideal clients are
✨ What those clients need right now

With a little brainstorming (and some help from ChatGPT!) they each decided on a lead magnet that not only helps their audience but shows off their expertise.

Then we got stuck in:
🎨 Designed the lead magnet in Canva
📧 Set up their email system
🌐 Added forms to their websites
🏷️ Created tags, groups, and welcome automations

All of that done and dusted before they walked out the door!

There’s a bit of polishing to do on some of the opt-in content, but I’ll be sharing their awesome work with you soon.

Special shoutout to Abigail Lewis-Savage and Kristie Lewis, who popped by thinking their email session was that day (my fault with my brain fog and mixing the days up!) but used the time to have a lovely chat and introduce me to the magic of time-lapse video 🤣💌

3 Lessons I Wish I’d Learned Sooner in Business

✨ 1. Just because it works for them, doesn’t mean it’ll work for you.
I spent too long following advice from mentors who were years ahead of me, had big audiences, and very different businesses. “Do what I did and you’ll get these results” but that’s not always true. Trying to copy their exact strategy cost me time, money and confidence. Build what works for you.

✨ 2. Start your email list EARLY.
I used to tell my clients how important email marketing was… while completely ignoring it for myself 🙈
If I’d started building my list and writing newsletters 10 years ago, I’d be in a very different place today. Don’t wait. Start now. Your future self will thank you.

✨ 3. You don’t need to act ‘professional’ to BE professional.
For years I thought I had to dress a certain way or talk a certain way to be taken seriously. Truth is your clients are buying you. Your expertise, your energy, your vibe. Be real, be relatable, be yourself.
